A new season of life may bring change. But when we begin to intensely look inward, it becomes easier to prioritize what matters most—connection.
You cannot change your past. It was practice. Your present may be uneasy. It signifies growth. You have the ability to create. Rewrite your story.
TOYOSI BABALOLA
Welcome! I’m Toyosi
I help moms create wholesome care experiences.
I’m a product and technology expert and a certified mom burnout coach. I’m also a single mom, so I know first-hand how difficult it may be for you to achieve work-life balance and self-care.
I created Abulé to help mothers cater to their overall well-being so that families, communities, and society can thrive.
Change is often uneasy. The doubts, fears, and uncertainties may be crippling, but change is also a catalyst for growth. As a little child, I was excited about the thought of moving to a country known to be the land of opportunities. So, I embraced change with an open mind like a curious, free-spirited little child. To my dismay, I quickly realized that opportunities are not as accessible to everyone.
This is why Abulé is set on making connections and creating job opportunities for everyone regardless of your cultural background or zip code, so that you can ascertain economic mobility for your families and future generations.
In the early to mid 2000s, there weren’t a lot of women in technology, let alone women of my kind. But, I gladly forged along and excelled in school because staying true to my core identity was all I knew. At work, I received gender stereotypical remarks but my love for storytelling, problem solving, and sheer determination kept me confident in my abilities.
This is why Abulé is built to be a safe place for you to embrace your unique strengths, talents and interests regardless of your current abilities or capabilities, so that you can receive unbiased support to nurture your aspirations to reality.
After I lost my job in 2017, I knew something had to change. I loved my career, but my priorities and needs had changed as a new mom. Desperate for answers, I spoke to several parents who echoed the same sentiment. Sadly, our society is not set up to adequately provide care at various stages of life , and we have moved farther away from the concept of communal care.
This is why Abulé is a comprehensive care village that allows you to tap into the aid of benevolent care givers, so that you can thrive through the seasons of motherhood and beyond , and harness the wisdom of traditional cultures.
Starting a company is hard. I knew it would be a long and arduous journey, but one that must be journeyed nonetheless. So, with deep passion and courage, I set out. Brick after brick, we build our village, with our past, present and future in mind. In-spite of disparities and lack of access to resources, we continue with resilience and perserverance.
This is why Abulé is committed to building a sustainable care infrastructure so that we can make a lasting impact for families, communties and society; especially for those that are marginalized and displaced.
The solution to struggle is always perspective. If you wish to change the course of your life, you must create a new reality and live from it objectively until it comes to fruition.
